On crashing, concussions, and recovery

I intended to write about every race this year in a timely manner but it has taken me two months to be able to feel up to writing about this one.
On March 23rd, I lined up for Love Valley Roubaix in the quirky and lovable town of Love Valley, NC. I was excited and nervous but did not think that my race would end halfway through the course, face down and unconscious.
